 Health Council MCCSC Health Council

 The MCCSC Health Council consists of community members, organizations, school administrators, staff, and parents and meets throughout the school year to identify and target the initiatives to improve the health environment of the district.

The MCCSC Health Council meets quarterly in February, May, September, and     December. Meetings take place at the Admin Building located at 315 E North Drive.

  Next meeting:  December 3, 2015 from 4:15pm-5:15pm; February 4, 2016; May 5, 2016 The meeting will be held in the MCCSC Administration building, room 30.


Subcommittees

Each member of the Health Council is placed on a subcommittee that focuses on one specific component of school health. Throughout the year the subcommittees identify and target projects and initiatives to improve school health. Subcommittee topics include:

Food and Nutrition Services

School Health Services

School Facilities and Transportation

Counseling, Social Services, and School Climate

Health Education/Sex Education

Staff Wellness

Community and Family Involvement
