Student Appreciation Day is Friday, May 26, the last day of school. Students will have the opportunity to participate in various free activities at school: movies, gym & outdoor activities, board games, computer games, and more. They also may choose to sign up for bowling or roller skating. The cost to skate is $3 and to bowl is $5. Students that want to skate and/or bowl must register and pay during lunches on May 17-19. To participate in Appreciation Day activities students must have all of their final grading period assignments turned in by Monday, May 22. Ineligible students will be assigned to a study hall on May 26.
Students will need to turn in their iPad in its MCCSC provided cover, sync cord, and charger block. Before turning it in, students need to upload any document, picture, or movie they want to save to their Google Drive account. There will be a fee charged for any items not returned.
2016-2017 Yearbooks will be distributed to students who pre-ordered on the last day of school. If you don’t remember if you ordered one, check the list in the cafeteria. There will be a limited number of extra yearbooks available. Students that wish to purchase a yearbook should bring $20 cash or check, payable to Tri-North, with them on May 26. 8th graders get first call on extra yearbooks.
Beginning Tuesday, May 30, Community Kitchen’s van will stop at various locations Monday through Friday all summer long to serve sack lunches to any kids in need of a healthy nutritious meal. Click on this title for details.

Interested in participating in Athletics? Each year students need a completed sports physical packet on file in the office before the first practice, workout, or open gym. An exam completed April 1, 2017 or after is in effect through the following academic year. 8th graders that participated in athletics last school year will need another current physical. Sports packets are available in the office or can be printed from the Athletics tab. Please use our forms; doctors do not have all the necessary forms.
Incoming 7th graders are invited to attend a student-only orientation from 1-2:30 pm. You will have the opportunity to find your classrooms and practice your locker combination, as well as other fun & informative activities. Volleyball, football, and cheer team members must stay for mandatory Concussion Testing from 2:30-3:30 pm.
