MCCSC Student Services Awarded by Meadows Hospital

On November 12, 2015, Bloomington Meadows Hospital awarded the MCCSC Student Services Department the 2015 Mental Health Ambassador of the Year Award during the organization's annual conference in Nashville, Indiana. This year’s conference entitled, Mental Health: Mind, Body, Spirit and Community, included professional attendees from throughout the State.
 
MCCSC Students Services Department is directed by Becky Rose, MSW; LCSW, and coordinates the school social workers throughout the MCCSC's 21 school buildings.

"Bloomington Meadows Hospital is pleased to recognize the efforts of the MCCSC Student Services. MCCSC Student Services is on the front line daily, helping the children and families in our community stay safe. MCCSC Student Services selfless efforts help meet the emotional needs of the students and serves as a testimony to their dedication. MCCSC Student Services constantly strives to find appropriate services while continuing to provide examples of compassion and professionalism. The many obstacles faced by the MCCSC Student Services doesn’t deter their motivation to overcome those barriers and their focus on improving the lives of the students they serve."
