What's a school social worker?
School Social Workers are Master's Level Mental Health Professionals maintaining a dual license from the State of Indiana in Social Work and the Indiana Department of Education.
What services do they provide?
School Social Workers can assist with positive behavioral support, academic and classroom support, mental health concerns, individual counseling, and group counseling. They emphasize social emotional learning opportunities and connect students and families to community resources as needed. School Social Workers are the link between the home, school, and community.
