MCCSC Teacher Recognized by EPA at the White House
Angela Harding, a second grade teacher at Marlin Elementary, was recently recognized by the Environmental Protection Agency with Honorable Mention as an Environmental Educator. She attended at ceremony and luncheon at the White House and was presented with this award for her excellence in teaching environmental awareness.
At the ceremony, the EPA facilitated round table discussion with government officials about challenges and successes using STEM in our classrooms. Angela was excited about sharing the successes and challenges on teaching environmental subjects.
