A refreshed space to showcase student talent 

Carmichael Auditorium at Bloomington High School South is a cornerstone of performing arts in MCCSC schools, hosting music, theatre, and choral performances that showcase student talent from across the corporation. The auditorium is receiving a renovation with new flooring and modern seating.

The refreshed space provides a more comfortable and welcoming experience for every audience member, while reinforcing Panther pride with the school's signature purple throughout the design. Whether students are performing on stage or cheering from the seats, Carmichael Auditorium now matches the caliber of talent it hosts — and our entire community will benefit for years to come.

Project Investment: Approximately $300,000 (Lease Rental Bonds).

Zero Referendum dollars will be used.

Zero Educational dollars that support teachers and instruction will be used. 

Zero Operational dollars will be used.

Project will begin June 1, 2026
