Students’ classrooms include miles of hiking trails (Lakeview, Unionville), a pond, a nature preserve (Highland Park), an amphitheater (Unionville), gardens, and walking tracks used daily.
In addition, Unionville Elementary offers a unique E.A.R.T.H. educational model (E=Environment, A= Art, R= Resources, T=Technology, and H=Health) that emphasizes a nature-based STEAM curriculum.
