  • IN*SOURCE: This website has a lot of resources and information for parents.  Their goal is to equip families and partnering professionals to help students with special needs reach their potential.
  • Transition Guide: A comprehensive transition guide has been created by the Monroe/Owen Community Transition Council.  The guide includes information, forms, and websites that have relevant and updated transition information. 
  • 13 Disability Categories: According to the Individuals with Disabilities Act (IDEA), there are 13 disability categories in which a child may qualify for special education services.
