Location: Bloomington High School North & Bloomington High School South
Dates: June 2 – July 10, 2025
No class on June 19th or July 4th
Time: 8:00am – 11:00am
Information: This program supports incoming 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students with direct, small group instruction to build essential skills in the areas of English language arts, math, social emotional learning (SEL), and life skills. Students receive high school credit for attending.
High School Summer Classes
Open to any Bloomington High School North & South high school student. Contact your school counselors to get registered!
Location: Bloomington High School South
Dates: June 2 – July 10, 2025
No class on June 19th or July 4th
Time: 2-Hour sessions begin daily at 8:00am, 10:00am, and 12:00pm
Information: The Edmentum PLATO Online Program will be used along the direct instruction from teachers in some courses. Summer school is primarily for credit recovery courses. Pre-and post-tests must be taken at BHSS. Applications will be available beginning April 7th on the school websites.
Computer Technology Support Course (CRAM)

Time: 11:00 am – 3:00 pm
Information: Incoming Bloomington High School North & South 10-12th grade students can apply to participate in this course that prepares students to provide laptop technical support to students during the school year.
Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE)

Location: Hoosier Hills Career Center
Dates: June 2 – July 10, 2025

Time: 8:00am – 11:00am
Information: The Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) is designed to provide students with opportunities to gain experience in the agricultural field(s) in which they are interested. Students will apply knowledge learned in the classroom, laboratory, and other training sites to real-life situations with a standards-based learning plan. Students work closely with their agriculture teacher(s), parents, and/or employers to get the most out of their SAE program.
Virtual Camp
Free and Open to All MCCSC K-8 Students! Schools will send registration instructions home via ParentSquare.
Dates: June 2nd – 26th
Information: Virtual Summer Camp is an easy way for your child to stay sharp this summer from the comfort of your own home. Students will use the Edmentum Products: Study Island, Math Seeds, and/or Reading Eggs to complete reading and math activites. Students can work at their level and pace to fill gaps and enrich their learning. In addition, students can also work on grade level assignments to reinforce skills they have mastered throughout the year and prevent the summer skill slide. Your child can log on at any point throughout the week to complete these assignments or work on their personalized learning path in reading and/or math.
MCCSC’s EdVenture Camp is a summer program for students entering Pre-K through 8th grade. Four, two-week sessions are offered over the months of June and July to provide fun and educational programming for students.
A new summer camp experience designed specifically for incoming Pre-K and Kindergarten students! Pre-K students whose family incomes are 225% or less of the federal poverty level are eligible to attend for free, through MCCSC’s 2023 Referendum.
