Health Services Programs/Services

Vision Screenings are completed every Fall for students in the following grades:

Pre-K, Grade 1, Grade 3, Grade 5, and Grade 8-Provided by the IU School of Optometry

MCCSC registered nurses may conduct additional vision screenings for students who have vision concerns throughout the school year.

All students listed in the grades above will be screened unless a written, signed, and dated objection is submitted to the student’s school health office. The student’s parent or guardian must complete this objection and submit it before the screening date.

Preschool and grades K, 1, 4, 7, and 10- Provided by MCCSC Speech and Hearing
Pathologists

Immunization Clinics:

Flu vaccines and COVID-19 vaccines are provided by the Monroe County Public Health Clinic.
