In January 2026, the MCCSC Board of School Trustees invited community input on the future of the former Herald-Times property on South Walnut Street via an online survey and community forum.  MCCSC purchased the property in 2022 for potential future use. As the Board evaluates options for the site, community perspectives will help inform their decision-making.
