In January 2026, the MCCSC Board of School Trustees invited community input on the future of the former Herald-Times property on South Walnut Street via an online survey and community forum, held on January 29, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Bloomington High School South.  MCCSC purchased the property in 2022 for potential future use. As the Board evaluates options for the site, community perspectives will help inform their decision-making.
