In Our Community:

  • WonderLab is an interactive children’s museum located in downtown Bloomington. It offers a place for children of all ages to “play, experiment, innovate, discover, create, and learn about science.” Every Sunday, they have a different STEM challenge in their upstairs classroom. They also offer many unique learning opportunities and special programs.  For more information, visit their website.
  • IU School of Education Saturday Science Quest for Kids is a program for K-8 students to engage in hands on Science/STEM related investigations. The program takes place in the fall and spring over five consecutive Saturday mornings. For more information, visit their website.
  • Monroe County Public Library offers several hands on STEM and computer science activities for kids of all ages. For more information, visit their website.
  • Crane offers Summer STEM Camps at Westgate Academy.  The camps run from the middle of June into July and are offered to students entering 4th through 12th grade.  Registration is open in the spring.
