The Monroe County Community School Corporation believes in providing a strong instructional program so our students are college, career, and life ready. We promote academic excellence through the enhancement of educational opportunities and access for all of our students. Through a variety of opportunities including Dual Credit and Advanced Placement (AP) courses, world-class arts programs, championship sports teams, and career and technical education (CTE) programs including over 25 career pathways, our students gain the knowledge and experiences they need to be successful beyond high school. Following a Professional Learning Community (PLC) model, our educators come together to collaborate, discuss, and review data as it relates to student learning. As a result of this work, teachers identify differentiated strategies and best practices to ensure the success of all learners.
Our secondary instruction aligns with the Indiana Academic Standards and Indiana's diploma requirements, including the current Graduation Pathways Requirements and the new Indiana Diploma requirements beginning with the class of 2029.
