Phase 2 focused on strengthening family and community partner engagement and establishing venues to listen to our community through open, transparent, and enhanced communication.

Highland Park Elementary hosted the first Muffins With Markay parent and teacher discussion on August 30, 2024, followed by a session at Lakeview Elementary held on October 25, 2024. These engagement sessions are designed to provide informal opportunities to talk with the new Superintendent and to exchange concerns, ideas and suggestions.
